The automotive assembly plant is currently the only one located entirely within the city of Detroit and is estimated to add 3,850 new jobs to support production.<\/p>\n<p>IMEG was part of a multiple-firm design team on the project. IMEG provided electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural services for 200,000-sf of renovations at the two buildings. These renovations included reconfiguration and refreshing the offices for the two sets of Employee Services and two sets of Administration areas. IMEG designed systems for a new CMM and Metrology lab within the plant and a new Quality Center addition with support labs.
