The University of Kansas Hospital has been involved in the development of a comprehensive facilities master plan starting in early 2011. One conclusion of the master plan was the immediate need to construct a new inpatient facility on the University of Kansas Medical Center\u2019s campus, including the related infrastructure and support improvements. The new 600,000-sf acility \u2013 Cambridge Tower A \u2013 houses interventional radiology, imaging, surgical suites, ICU, neurology, oncology, physical therapy gyms, pharmacy, and shell space for future growth.<\/p>\n

IMEG served as the design engineer for the new hospital facility building providing MEP, SD and DD level services with peer review of the Engineer of Record\u2019s construction documents and full Technology level services from SD through CA.<\/p>\n
