Significant improvements included the coordination of mezzanine-level demolition, structural support of a new elevator, and floor strengthening to support fitness club loading. We provided analytical analysis for floor vibration characteristics based on the new use of space and collaborated with a vibration consultant to determine retrofit requirements for floor framing which were necessary due to long, 60-foot span girders in one area of the club.
