The VA Medical Center at Jefferson Barracks underwent a campus transformation as part of a master plan development which included expanding the national cemetery more than 30-acres, improving medical and non-medical facilities and updating the campus infrastructure system.<\/p>\n

A detailed facility assessment reviewed all site utility and infrastructure systems, existing central plant and sub-stations, and all buildings on campus. A master plan was developed of building and system recommendations, including demolition, costs, schedule, phasing, and prioritization. The result was a long-range plan through 2025 and extending further for non-major items. An extensive, multi-phased design and implementation schedule was developed.<\/p>\n
