The project: <\/b>Connecticut Children\u2019s Medical Center engaged IMEG\u2019s healthcare information technology (HIT) advisory services team to strategize, advise, and identify information technology solutions to support their new, 197,500-sf, eight-story bed tower expansion and 30,000-sf renovation project.<\/p>\n
HIT goal: <\/b>Create a plan to ensure the project\u2019s design supported not only the current technology needs of the new facility, but also future technology needs, owner goals, and all end-user requirements.<\/p>\n
Design aproach: <\/b>The design process included a current-state assessment to understand present challenges with the environment, future-state visioning to identify future end user requirements, and a technology road map aligned to the construction schedule. Additionally, IMEG developed an initial technology program, a detailed budget strategy, and participated in DD and CD phases for the new tower.<\/p>\n
