Phase I is a 165-bed, four-story building with student housing above first-floor retail space that includes a campus bookstore, bistro\/caf\u00e9, and diner.<\/p>\n<p>IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for Phase I. System designs included HVAC, power, lighting, fire alarm, and provisions for kitchen exhaust and make-up air for the diner and bistro spaces. The building\u2019s energy efficient design includes water-efficient plumbing fixtures and LED lighting. A dedicated outdoor air system and variable refrigeration flow system are the basis of design for heating and cooling the residential floors.<\/p>\n<p>IMEG is provided engineering design services for Phase II, which opened in August in 2024.
