Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently visited Ford\u00a0Motor Company\u2019s new\u00a0Electric Vehicle Center\u00a0at the automaker\u2019s historic Rouge complex in Dearborn, MI.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The facility, which features structural design by IMEG,\u00a0will produce the all-electric F-150 Lightning\u00a0beginning in 2022\u00a0and is\u00a0part of Ford\u2019s $700 million investment in manufacturing infrastructure\u00a0to produce more electric vehicles.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Whitmer highlighted the facility\u2019s employment potential and environmental awareness in a video posted to her official twitter account.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
