IMEG\u00a0<\/span>was a sponsor\u00a0<\/span>fo<\/span>r<\/span>\u00a0the Gallatin Valley Land Trust\u2019s 5<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0Annual Summer Trails Challenge event<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>which\u00a0<\/span>local residents to hike<\/span>d<\/span>, walk<\/span>ed<\/span>, bike<\/span>d<\/span>, and r<\/span>a<\/span>n the<\/span>\u00a0GVLT<\/span>\u00a0trails<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>on their own time from June 6-26<\/span>. For every mile reported, GVLT received $1 from\u00a0<\/span>community businesses. In three weeks,\u00a0<\/span>nearly 4,000\u00a0<\/span>participants\u00a0<\/span>logged over 58,000 miles and\u00a0<\/span>raised $50,000\u00a0<\/span>for GVLT.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Over the years, IMEG (formerly\u00a0<\/span>Nishkian<\/span>\u00a0Monks) has provided engineering services to construct or install park amenities around the trails, including the structural assessment of all the pedestrian bridges along the\u00a0<\/span>Gallagator<\/span>\u00a0Linear Trail; the nine permanent sculpture pieces for the\u00a0<\/span>Bozeman Sculpture Park<\/span>\u00a0on the grounds of the Bozeman Public Library and along the Linear Trail; the wider and longer clear-span\u00a0<\/span>pedestrian bridge at Bozeman Creek<\/span>\u00a0leading from East Kock Street into Bogert Park; the\u00a0<\/span>Valley West Pavilion and Covered Bridges<\/span>\u00a0around Meyers Lake; the\u00a0<\/span>Hyalite Canyon Blackmore Pavilion and Picnic Area<\/span>\u00a0in Custer Gallatin National Forest; and the\u00a0<\/span>Kevin Mundy Memorial Bridge<\/span>\u00a0at the Drinking Horse Mountain Trail located across from the popular \u201cM\u201d trail at the mouth of Bridger Canyon.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5209,"template":"","meta":{"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
