The original 1912 design of the cathedral included a shallow\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">transcept<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, deep dais with altar, a three-story-high ceiling, and Italian marble, which presented a variety of acoustic challenges.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">IMEG acoustic and technology designers worked within the space\u2019s constraints (e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">choes, wide side dispersion, and the cantor\u2019s location directly in front of the loudspeaker<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">) to provide predictive acoustic modeling.
