WELL is working.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Workers in buildings with WELL certification report higher workplace satisfaction, increased productivity, and improved health and well-being, according to a peer-reviewed study in the Journal of Building and Environment.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Backed by scientific research, WELL is a system for improving human health and well-being by building healthier buildings, organizations and communities. It focuses on 10 concepts for good health \u2014 <\/span>Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The survey found:\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The longitudinal research used more than 1,300 pre- and post-occupancy surveys from six North American companies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The survey comes as the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced a new partnership to streamline dual certification for WELL and LEED, the rating standard for green buildings, beginning in 2023.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n IMEG has expertise in engineering for WELL certification.
