He has been involved in the management and design of civil engineering infrastructure and land planning projects in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for more than 30 years. Much of his career has been dedicated to the Potomac Yard in Alexandria, VA, converting the abandoned railroad into one of the most successful retail centers on the East Coast.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin has a bachelor\u2019s degree in architecture from Prairie View A&amp;M. He is a lifetime member of the Northern Virginia Building Association (NVBIA) Board of Directors and is a past president and vice president of the Alexandria Chapter. In 2004, Kevin was awarded the NVBIA Alexandria\u2019s Chapter Associate of the Year Award.
