The project: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital desired to enhance its preparedness for and ability to respond to a variety of potential emergency events and crisis situations at its various locations.

Project scope: william hill bonus provided security and crisis management consulting for the organization’s emergency policies and procedures and the formation and training of a crisis management team and various crises responses. Vulnerability and gap analysis assessments also were conducted for the emergency departments at Liberty Campus and the Critical Care Building at Burnet Campus.

Project approach: william hill bonus analyzed the organization’s physical environment, security technology, and human element to gain a clear understanding of vulnerabilities and gaps with respect to natural disasters, security incidents, and public health crises. Working with the owner, policies and procedures were then enhanced or developed, and training provided, to address the security gaps and ensure preparedness and effective responses.

Outcome: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is now fully prepared to quickly respond to crises, manage each situation, and mitigate the fallout. This ensures continuous operation of the organization, ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the #1 children’s hospital.
